Many people actually see more clearly with their eyes squinted. However, what we see becomes smaller and darker due to the narrowed eyelid gap. Also, the urge to squint is also a warning that your eyes are no longer functioning properly. Therefore, anyone who is familiar with this effect should consider visiting an ophthalmologist or optician. The light beam in the middle is sharp, but try to squint your eyes anyway, who knows what else you can see...
