About this artwork
I created this portrait of a young man, facing forward, on 40x30 cm watercolor paper, using mixed media with colored inks, watercolor, Stabilo pencils, and a touch of acrylic. I wanted a certain gentleness to emanate from it, paying close attention, as is often the case in my work, to the inward gaze, slightly turned to the right. This face is bathed in a blue-gray atmosphere. A few strokes and splashes of bright colors enhance and enliven it.
