About this artwork
Zip #2 continues the series by shifting the tension to a warmer and more intense scale. The deep, dense, and textured red background welcomes a rough, luminous golden zip that crosses the surface like a precious seal. The contrast between the warmth of the red and the gleam of the gold accentuates the sense of energy and strength.
Here too, the zipper is a symbol of boundaries: it separates and unites, contains and reveals. But in Zip #2, the gesture… appears more internal and vibrant, like an emotion held in the fire of silence. It is a pulsating threshold, a golden memory that resists time, a limit that protects what burns beneath the surface. Available in combination with ZIP #3.
