About this artwork
Zip #3 introduces a visual and emotionally disruptive element to the series. The dense, structured metal zipper is crossed by a thin red line that emerges and drips, like a crack exposing a long-restrained emotion. The solid, silent gray background amplifies the vibration of the gesture, transforming the zipper into a pulsating threshold.
The work reflects on the moment when interiority bursts its banks: a silent pressure that becomes a visible… trace. It is the crack, the edge that cracks, the threshold where emotion comes alive, where protection gives way to truth.
