The Evening Storm captures a moment when nature reveals both its volatility and its quiet resilience. This work reflects my deep connection to the northern shoreline landscapes that has shape much of my work. The fallen tree—weathered yet unyielding—serves as a symbol of endurance, its roots clinging to the rocks as waves surge beneath it. The darken sky, split by a sudden break of light, illuminates across the water indicating clarity in the midst…
of turmoil. The shoreline stones bring in the physical world while the storm above suggests forces far larger than me.
