About this artwork
In this work, I seek to capture a moment of calm by the sea. I painted this scene from the sense of stillness I feel when gazing at the horizon, when the sound of the waves accompanies my thoughts and everything seems lighter. The human figures are small, anonymous; they simply exist. What matters is their relationship with the landscape: contemplation, pause, calm. The dunes and the reflections of the sky seek to envelop the viewer in this serene…
