About this artwork
I stand facing the sea in a moment of suspended calm. I paint the beach when the tide recedes, leaving the sand a mirror where sky and earth merge. The human figures appear small, almost silent, walking or carrying their boards, like thoughts crossing the landscape without disturbing it.
I use the horizon to breathe: a broad line where the blue of the ocean meets a soft sky, tinged with warm light. On the wet sand, I let the colors slide and blend,… seeking to reflect not only what I see, but what I feel: stillness, vastness, and expanded time. It's not a specific beach; it's a state of mind, an invitation to walk slowly and lose oneself in the reflection.
