About this artwork
This work forms the center of the trilogy Beneath the Surface and represents the moment of reflection.
The seated figure appears calm and grounded. It is not a specific person, but a symbol for the moment when the external noise subsides and the gaze turns inward.
The surface was created from earth, ash, marble dust, and oil paint. Built up layer by layer, it is reminiscent of geological sediments in which… time, memory, and experience are stored. Like the earth, humankind also carries its history within it.
In a world characterized by speed, distraction and constant accessibility, I am interested in the quiet counter-movement: conscious lingering, listening and returning to the essentials.
The gold no longer appears as part of the figure.
This work is available individually. A special price is offered for the purchase of the entire trilogy. Please inquire at Singulart.

Nature is my greatest muse – its transience and beauty inspire me.
. Using oil paints, acrylic, ash and earth, I create art that goes far beyond what is visible. For me, these natural elements symbolize the cycle of life and remind us that everything earthly is fleeting, but still full of meaning.
My art is meant to touch people – it is meant to evoke silence, peace, but also longing and melancholy. Each picture tells its own story and carries emotions that run deep.
Let yourself be carried away by the power of the elements and the emotions contained in my works.
I invite you to discover the beauty that inspires me in my art.
Let yourself be touched.
