About this artwork
Český Krumlov – Memory of a City is an abstract work born from the reverberations of a place. Inspired by a visit to the Czech town of Český Krumlov, the artist translates her impressions not into concrete architecture, but into structure, mood, and material depth.
The ground consists of a layer of natural materials: earth, ash, and sand – applied in several layers, intuitively, without a fixed plan. Only in a second step are the forms developed… with oil paints. The result is a work that hovers between figuration and abstraction – familiar yet open to interpretation.
The color scheme is calm, earthy, and reduced. Nothing is perfect, nothing symmetrical—therein lies the charm of this painting: in the restlessness of the surface and the tranquility it nevertheless radiates.
Nature is my greatest muse – its transience and beauty inspire me.
. Using oil paints, acrylic, ash and earth, I create art that goes far beyond what is visible. For me, these natural elements symbolize the cycle of life and remind us that everything earthly is fleeting, but still full of meaning.
My art is meant to touch people – it is meant to evoke silence, peace, but also longing and melancholy. Each picture tells its own story and carries emotions that run deep.
Let yourself be carried away by the power of the elements and the emotions contained in my works. I invite you to discover the beauty that inspires me in my art.
