In this work, I wanted to capture the vibrant and complex energy of the digital world through abstract and figurative forms. The mixture of oil and lacquer creates a rich surface where each circuit seems to pulse, evoking both technology and life. It will bring an electric tension to your interior, a subtle balance between mechanical order and organic creativity.

Dan Liefooghe, a painter with an atypical background, combines his experience as a violin maker and as an assistant to Marcel Berlanger with a jazz musical practice. He uses oils and old violin varnishes on canvas, exploring abstract figurative as well as realism; his works incorporate food themes or printed circuit patterns and are accompanied by titles with messages. Through an approach inspired by phenomenology, he seeks to convey the subtlety of perception and the poetry of the appearance of phenomena, arousing curiosity and contemplation in the viewer.
