About this artwork

This work was born during a period of deep inner exploration. I chose to work on a billboard because the hidden female figure, the model of the image, represents the part of myself I was searching for: her gaze directed at my face becomes a symbolic dialogue between me and my unconscious. The textured surface is made with sheets of vinyl glue I created and heat-molded, a material that looks like plastic but is born from an artisanal process.
