About this artwork
Uni-verso is the result of a creative process that began with taking a photo of children's hands while we were painting.
I wanted to capture the moment of creation to give voice to the depth of the human bond that is established during moments of sharing, interaction and cooperation.
I created a game of three-dimensional interlocking shapes to represent the uniqueness of each individual in a positive vision of experimenting with oneself and others.…
The play of the various sizes of hands represents a multicultural nature that favors the integration of those and things that present themselves as different.
What the world needs are hands working to create a shared, multicultural, and unidirectional future.
We are all children of the same time. It's our languages and habits that differentiate us, but if our ideals are united pulses, we can still believe we are all children of the same Universe.

Daniela Bellofiore is a visual artist who transforms matter into rebirth. Self-taught and a multi-media artist, she works with collages, three-dimensional assemblages, textured works, mixed media, and original techniques such as Volumetric Photography and Painting Volumetry. Her research explores the regeneration of matter and the potential of fragments: every scrap becomes a source, every remnant a new form. Through cuts and layering, she creates surfaces between painting and sculpture. Alongside her artistic production, she also engages in educational activities that value mistakes as a creative space.
