About this artwork
"CATCHING A RAINBOW"
In this piece, I've melded acrylics, sand, and unexpected textures to evoke the surreal interplay of reality and dreams. The figure, head bursting into a burst of clouds under a beret, symbolizes a connection with nature. Painting rainbows emerging from their reach, I aimed to capture the essence of hope and the vibrant spirit of beauty in nature. This artwork speaks to the heart, inviting a blend of wonder and inspiration into… any space.

« My creative process is always evolving, I am constantly intrigued by the endless possibilities of creating with digital technology fused with the real world materials of Canvas, paper, paint and other materials. »
David Morrison, a seasoned visual artist, adeptly integrates photography, digital manipulation, and various materials in his work. Infusing real-world elements with digital technology, he alters light, tones, and colors, using software like a paintbrush while adding tangible materials for depth. His art, a harmonious blend of surrealism, pop art and contemporary, radiates an emotional connection to nature, capturing the viewer into its fantastic narratives. Above all, my Art does not have to be understood to be enjoyed.
