About this artwork
This work emerges as a continuation of the painting "The cake is a lie", it is a piece that delves even further into the fatigue of never stopping production, an infinity of pieces in which the color spills out on the factory production line.
In the image I show how the painting goes in and out through its margins, generating an infinite loop from which there is no escape, where the graphic elements desperately seek the margins of the work that… are denied to them.
David San Francisco, PhD in Fine Arts, primarily uses oil, acrylic, resins, waxes, colored pencils, and metals, merging his academic and teaching background with his artistic practice. His technique explores ambiguous abstraction, employing the subtraction and addition of materials to create geometric compositions that engage the viewer, inviting them to assign personal meaning to each work. His paintings evoke an emotional and cognitive transformation, prompting a continuous reinterpretation and renewal of the viewer's visual memory.
