About this artwork
The work entitled "Abstract Shore" is an abstract canvas painted with a knife that can evoke a ship on the edge of a rocky shore. It is up to the spectator to decide if the ship moves away from it or if it comes aground there. The clear, frothy water contrasts with the warm colors of the ship and the black of the shore. The colors blend together and stretch as if the ocean had just diluted everything.
