About this artwork
The work entitled "Ardent Crossing" is an abstract composition marked with a white cross dividing the canvas into four quadrants that alternate warm and cold colors. Iridescent blue mixes with ocher while emerald green blends with copper and gold. The flows of walnut husk in the acrylic layers create effusions of variable hue and viscosity.
