About this artwork
Ohio in October. On my daily drive to work when I rounded this hilly corner my eye level was about half way up the sycamore trunk. Smaller trees with different coloration were at that height so I was able to capture the combination of colors. Their arrangement formed a “window” distant morning haze. With no way to stop and sketch or photograph the scene, I had to keep driving back and forth to gather information to complete the work.
