About this artwork
I wanted Parietal VI to feel less like a fixed image than like a coloured presence trying to emerge from the graphite itself. The luminous fragments never completely settle onto the surface. They seem suspended somewhere between material and atmosphere, almost like a small nebula held inside the drawing.
What interests me here is that unstable state where the image keeps shifting while remaining partially unresolved. Certain forms appear, disperse,… then reassemble again. I am not trying to construct a stable composition, but to hold the work in a fragile tension between emergence and erosion.
