About this artwork
From a more philosophical and spiritual point of view, this painting is part of reflections on the theme of borders and passages from one state to another, in a fairly gentle and progressive way. These intellectual works follow on from other works on the theme of passage presented in 2014 during a personal exhibition… in Vézelay in Burgundy, a major place of Romanesque art and spirituality set up around an abbey and now the Basilica of Saint Mary Magdalene.
Like all of the artist's paintings, this work is signed on the back and can be viewed in several directions, depending on how you feel.
