About this artwork
From the "Splashes" series.
The series was filmed in the spring on the streets of Paris. One day I was sitting on a bench by a fountain and accidentally pressed the shutter button. That's the shot I got. I liked it, so the next day I went for a walk to the fountains again and started taking unusual pictures of splashes. Behind the fountains, in the background, there were city objects of different colors, so colored details appear in the frames. Later… I slightly processed the images, enhancing the color and contrast, and as a result I got a small series.
I named this picture "Valkyrie" because when I look at this picture, I hear Wagner's "Flight of the Valkyries" music. Perhaps you will see something else, something unique, and that will be good. Everyone sees things differently.
