About this artwork
In this work, inspired by a place on my daily commute, I sought to capture the unique perception of this small street with its irregular, non-orthogonal lines, so characteristic of certain Parisian spaces. Its discreet yet striking urban composition held my attention.
Caught up in the rhythm of daily life, I rarely had the time to truly pause and appreciate it. I gradually noticed that this feeling was shared by the passersby themselves. Although… they were crossing a common space, imbued with a certain quiet beauty, each seemed absorbed in their own path.
The work thus evokes a form of coexistence without encounter: presences gathered in the same place, but separated from each other, as if detached from the space they momentarily inhabit.
