Autumn is often a favourite season for introverts, perfect for quiet walks with a warm cup of tea in hand. It’s a time when the world feels calm and full of colour. The stream in the painting symbolizes this flow of time, moving gently without a rush. The textures of the leaves, water, and rocks make you feel like you could step right into the scene and enjoy the cool breeze, earthy smells, and the soothing sound of the water.
I used both impressionism… and realism to create a forest and a stream that flows gently through trees. The soft light shines through the branches, adding warmth and calmness to the scene.

Emil Kasymov is an artist based in Kyrgyzstan whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Denmark. He believes that art cannot exist without meaning and that each composition is imbued with an aura that one feels instead of sees. Often creating a painting, Kasymov will sometimes spend up to three days in nature to fully "hear and feel" before beginning a piece.
