About this artwork
Autumn is the season when we slow down a little. In summer, we live outward — meeting people, travelling, always moving. But autumn changes something inside us. We return home, to ourselves. We begin to listen to what’s within.
When I painted this piece, I wanted to capture that feeling — when nature and the human soul breathe in the same rhythm. When silence doesn’t feel empty, but strong. In those moments, I realize that inspiration doesn’t have… to be found far away. It’s right here — in the reflection of water, in the scent of trees, in the beauty of nature, in the quiet that comes from within.
Autumn, for me, is the season of introverts — a time to think, to enjoy nature and its quietness, and to simply be.
« I am an artist who believes in nature and its power. I can hear nature's voice. »
Emil Kasymov is an artist based in Kyrgyzstan whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Denmark. He believes that art cannot exist without meaning and that each composition is imbued with an aura that one feels instead of sees. Often creating a painting, Kasymov will sometimes spend up to three days in nature to fully "hear and feel" before beginning a piece.
