About this artwork
Painting with acrylic, ink and marker on laminated styrofoam.
This work of the MOVING SILENCE series was created during the longest days of the year... warm days and balmy evenings.
I painted it outdoors... the support of this work consists of styrofoam plates, which I laminated and painted with metal foil and fabric to stabilize them.
Since I used "crashed" metal foil on the upper side as a background, the result is a very lively structure.…
The aura is calm and archaic, various shades of blue.
In the center of the work is a luminous silhouette - it could be a gate or a symbolized figure. It is surrounded by points of light and colored lines in red and violet.
The edges of the work are also painted so that the work can be hung up immediately.
On the back are two recessed professional hanging loops.
Eva Dahn Rubin is an artist living in Germany and Italy, whose paintings have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
She describes her artistic work as an "emotional and exciting process" that constantly allows her to grow beyond her own concepts.
Through the joyful intensity of their creation, her works become powerful objects. Influenced by music and dance, many of her compositions are characterized by the rhythm and movement of lines, forms, and colors. They inspire viewers to see the hidden and discover the new.
Her multifaceted and vibrant works are created using acrylic, tempera, collage and ink on canvas, paper or found materials.
