About this artwork
This work from the MOVING SILENCE series was created together with work XVII at the beginning of March 2023. There was still snow, but there was already a smell of spring. The first small leaves formed on the bushes and a blackbird sang very close...
First I primed the whole surface and then painted it in several layers with hundreds of falling lines.
I gave the delicately glowing colors a little more depth and excitement with a background and… upper area in deep ultramarine. A horizontal line in turquoise runs approximately in the middle of the work. This acts as a link between the more filigree part below and the part above that is reminiscent of plant growth.
This picture with bright and friendly colors looks calm and elegant, at the same time it has a vibrant liveliness.
The side parts are also painted and eyelets are let into the frame on the back.
So the work is ready to hang!
