About this artwork
Two-part work - the two canvases 100 x 100 cm can be hung together or separately... Also on top of each other.
The creation of this work was an exciting and slow process.
In many steps, the two canvases were covered with different materials (patterns). I ended up with a rug with colorful ethnic patterns - but I wanted light and space and a bit of excitement in it. It took a lot of courage to paint over most of it with white paint. But I now found… the flashing of my precious background much more interesting.... I freed the works from their PATTERNS... and courageous and powerful connections emerged that create a fine and lively whole
This is like a synonym for how we deal with our own patterns. Development means that we are able to continually open ourselves up to new perspectives and behavior patterns.
This work aims to encourage...
