About this artwork
In this piece, I've captured the tension between fire and ice – the glow of the evening sun meets the cool, silent power of winter. Inspired by a walk in December where the sunset created a stunning contrast to the snowy landscape, the otherwise tranquil, meditative, and rather unspectacular scenery of a path at the edge of the woods was transformed into a truly special event. Using watercolor and a touch of ink, I brought this moment and my emotions…
to life, focusing on expressive, experimental markmaking. The watercolor brings a dynamic yet calming atmosphere to any room, like a dance between passion and tranquility.

Since 2022, she has focused on painting again.
