About this artwork
All photos in this series are taken with a smartphone. A work in progress. They tell stories from a female perspective. The female gaze is the central element of these images. Similar to the perfect self-presentations on Instagram and other social media platforms, this series offers a glimpse behind the scenes. Doubt is allowed, and one's own actions are questioned. The small, handwritten messages are a counterpoint to the usual emojis.

What constraints and expectations do I want to submit to, and what should femininity look like for me? It's about exploring boundaries and finding the right strategy in an increasingly complex world.
