About this artwork
A woman's face, holding a smoking cigarette, piercing eyes, on a blue background.
The portrait itself fascinates me, I am fascinated by enigmatic and mysterious faces, faces that reveal my being. Because the model is only the pretext. It is not she who is revealed, but rather the artist who reveals himself.
The series inspired by the portrait and the smoking woman continues. These portraits are almost never simple portraits, but archetypes of contemporary… femininity. Through which I express my own philosophy of life. Connecting to the artistic current of the NEW FIGURATION. I hope you will be fascinated by these eyes that try to enter "into you".
