About this artwork
Action Painting, drippings, visual disturbances, combined with the beauty and instinctive power of expressionism make these female faces not only portraits but archetypes, that is, exemplars, models of what is today contemporary femininity, told by me not only according to current aesthetic canons, but also by carrying out psychological research. It is the search for one's own identity, which pushes one to true self-knowledge.
In this painting the… face of a woman smoking, inserted in a space completely flooded with fluid colors.
This collection is inspired by the smoking woman, and the sensual attitude that only she knows or can assume. The women I portray are almost always in attitudes of personal satisfaction, confident, free from the conditioning of contemporary society. Authentic work made by me in a single copy
