Using a combination of card, cotton calico, Hessian, acrylic paints including metallics, with acrylic mediums, mounted on a box canvas, this shaped canvas comes ready to hang. Signed on the reverse and UV varnish protected, the piece is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
' The edges of this piece extend beyond the 40 cm square canvas mount, adding to the strong textures and working to develop its sculptural qualities. The use of… multiple colours added to the multilayered surfaces increase the intensity of the many contrasting elements. My shaped pieces concentrate on form and space as a subject in itself, though the veiled references to an abstracted landscape are often shared in this series of works.'
