About this artwork
When I took this photo, it was a windy winter day by the sea. There's no subject in the center of the frame, because the subject is emptiness, or rather, the space between a small house, a shelter, built by man, and the waves of the rough sea on the other, representing nature. The path in the title refers precisely to life oscillating between two extremes: safety and protection on one side, and wilderness on the other.

I am an Italian fine art photographer and visual artist. I have always been fascinated by the world of shapes and colors, and I studied analog and digital photography in Rome. I use film and medium format digital cameras. I don't pursue a specific photographic genre; my gaze always seeks to capture a moment of enchantment, suspended between stillness and mystery, in ordinary scenes—be they places, people, or objects. My goal is to convey a sense of wonder in the viewer and awaken a sense of déjà vu. My works have received several international photography awards and have been sold at international auction houses (Binoche et Giquello, Paris; Cambi, Milan). Each photograph is produced in a limited edition on signed paper and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a printed catalogue of the works.
