This moment marks the lowest point of my inner journey – the complete powerlessness in the face of violence, uprooting, and inner turmoil.

Farzaneh Ravesh, born in Tehran in 1981, is a talented painter and advocate of art education. Her techniques are inspired by greats such as Picasso, repeating and reinterpreting themes. Her emotionally charged works reflect the horrors and suffering of her homeland, Iran. At the heart of her work are always repetitions of previous artworks as a result of repeated historical events, which offers a special insight into the recurring nature of history.
