The impulse for the creation of this painting is the film "Singin 'in the rain", from 1952. In the song performed by Gene Kelly he sings dancing and carefree about the fact that he sings in spite of the rain because he is happy. He is in love and this feeling changes his whole world - including his surroundings. The artist has artistically implemented this exhilaration, these exuberant emotions, which for people feel like blossoming in this painting,…
the title of which is a homage to the song. The powerful work of art captivates with the background in black and gray tones, from which the opulent flowers, painted with powerful brushstrokes, which represent the emotional world of lovers, seem to lean towards the viewer. On the right side of the picture, the viewer notices two smaller flowers that the artist created in delicate gray and yellow tones, symbols for the lovers who lean towards each other in the abundance of their dreams.
