This pair of circular paintings captures the quiet tension between movement and stillness that defines so many natural landscapes. In one piece, swirling cloud-like forms create a sense of shifting air and quiet mystery, while the other circle reveals soft, undulating hills beneath a misted sky. Together, they form a dialogue between nature’s subtle chaos and its profound calm.
The monochrome palette — deep blacks, soft greys, and luminous whites… — enhances the depth and sculptural texture, giving these small circles an unexpectedly expansive presence.
For me, these pieces reflect the delicate balance found in nature’s pauses — those quiet intervals where nothing seems to move, yet everything is quietly alive.
