About this artwork
The abstract painting "Dropping" was created in an intuitive creative process, which was specifically guided by the structure of the painting ground. The painting ground, a solid fabric with black threads woven into it running lengthways, led the artist to the intuition of the flowing. Organic and flowing forms became the pictorial design and the composition is based on this idea. Natural structures such as veins, leaves, butterfly wings inspired…
the design. In terms of color, the picture lives from a vibrant interplay of bright neon pink with a transition to violet and blue, which contrasts with yellow and green. The softened complementary contrasts bring a vibrant glow into the picture.
