About this artwork
The abstract painting "Verona" takes up the structures of old masonry in the Veronese alleys. Based on photo documentation of the masonry during a summer walk through the city, this painting was created in an intuitive process afterwards. Inspired by the photographs and the attitude to life of the moment, the sensual experiences of warmth and light, "Verona" was created in a mixed media of acrylic, oil pastel, colored pencil and chalk.
