About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the energy that never stops, that constant flow that flows through us and transforms us. The deep blue becomes a living territory, where transparencies and layers suggest a back-and-forth between the solid and the ephemeral. The central figure, almost ethereal, is born from a spontaneous gesture and speaks to the tension between stillness and progress, between what endures and what changes.
Painting in motion was… for me an experience of rhythm and breathing, an intimate dialogue with matter to find balance in the unstable.
Wherever this work is found, there will always be a fragment of the eternal movement that inspired it, beating in every glance.
Gabriel Lass, painter and sculptor, began his artistic path outlining houses and gardens, but found in painting a place to eternalize feelings. It uses an aesthetic of expressive abstraction, using vibrant colors and dynamic strokes, often with acrylic, seeking textures and layers with different tools and brushes for visual and tactile impact. His work is an eloquent testimony of his deepest emotions, life experiences and significant moments, building an emotional dialogue with the viewer.
