About this artwork
This work was created for my exhibition at Red Dot Miami. Even while painting, I felt the energy of this city—its light, its joie de vivre, and its colorful dynamism. In "Play of Colors," I blend intense tones and diverse textures to capture this vibrancy and expressiveness.
The combination of acrylic, sand, and marble lends the surface a tangible depth, inviting the viewer not only to look at the work but also to experience it. It brings warmth… and movement to any room—a homage to the joy of celebrating life in all its colors. Metallic colors and gold pigments reveal their full brilliance in the light—like Miami itself in the shimmer of the sun.
