About this artwork
My oil on Legion Oil paper painting "Champ de Mars" was inspired by a warm afternoon in a public garden in Paris, France. Sitting in the afternoon sun after a picnic in one of the most beautiful cities in the world is a life changing experience. The worries of the day disappear as a moment of reverie lifts spirits into a place of calm.
