About this artwork
The artist Gregorio Codagnone brings to his personal Roman exhibition works rich in chromatisms imbued with a vital force and a message in defense of nature. The protection of our beauties also passes through art and the inextricably link between the two concepts becomes the protagonist in the works on display.
The images that take shape on the canvases recall corals, flames or elements belonging to the world of nature, examples of beauty but at… the same time of fragility, since they are destined to change under the action of climate change. In each work, color becomes the spokesperson of a feeling of the soul and materializes in an abstract form through gesture.
Gregorio Codagnone is self-taught and combines colors, materials and techniques, drawing teachings and inspiration from everything around him. The artist lets the shapes and colors speak for him, shapes born from the desire to search for positive and vital energies that materialize through a gesture.

Gregorio Codagnone is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally. Passionate about art in all its forms, he is inspired by architecture and the materials that "make up things". Codagnone's current sculptural pieces explore the concept of composition and decomposition, nature returning to nature. However, in his pictorial works, he integrates sensations and emotions that bind internal areas that are fragmented and distant from each other.
