About this artwork
One of the painter's rare works on circular canvas. A tribute to the great contemporary architect Frank Gehry.
The artist studies and draws inspiration from the works and modus operandi of the aforementioned Archistar; the structures - architectures of the great visionary Gehry are reflected in the many facets that the paper treated and glued to the canvas give to the viewer of the work. The coloring carried out using two-tone spray paint, blue… and light blue, offers very interesting chiaroscuro effects.
The work in particular is inspired by one of the architect's first designs, where he himself begins to understand what his future design and construction path will be. He himself states that "I took inspiration from the shapes of a crumpled sheet of paper that I threw on the ground; from there the design of the museum begins."
« I am a dreamer and a visionary who represents his mind and what he feels. »
Gregorio Codagnone is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally. Passionate about art in all its forms, he is inspired by architecture and the materials that "make up things". Codagnone's current sculptural pieces explore the concept of composition and decomposition, nature returning to nature. However, in his pictorial works, he integrates sensations and emotions that bind internal areas that are fragmented and distant from each other.
