About this artwork
For some time the artist has been studying and relating to various types of supports that he uses as a base to create his works. Fabrics, used both as a base for the works and as a final layer and therefore as a finish; in this work they find a great deal of space to be studied and worked on. desired shape is achieved by the artist and then nailed one by one by hand to the underlying wooden board used as a support. The result obtained is that of a three-dimensional puzzle, where the material used is the main subject with all its colors. The whole creates a play of reflections, thanks to both bright and opaque colors that capture the observer and force him to observe the work from different angles due to its material three-dimensionality.

Gregorio Codagnone is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally.
