About this artwork
This work, characterized by an intense and vibrant gestural imprint, expresses the pure energy of color in motion. On a deep black background, a cascade of layered pigments – white, yellow, red and blue – pours vertically along the canvas like an unstoppable flow of emotions. The brush strokes appear decisive and spontaneous, evoking the dynamism of action painting and the expressive freedom of informal abstraction.
The composition invites the… observer to get lost in the details, among splashes, filaments and drips that seem to dance in the pictorial space. The verticality of the gesture accentuates a sense of ascending energy, as if the chromatic matter were guided by an invisible force between chaos and harmony. The contrast between the warm and cold tones and the brightness of the white produces an intense optical vibration, making the work a visual celebration of color as an expression of feeling.

« I am a dreamer and a visionary who represents his mind and what he feels. »
Gregorio Codagnone is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally. Passionate about art in all its forms, he is inspired by architecture and the materials that "make up things". Codagnone's current sculptural pieces explore the concept of composition and decomposition, nature returning to nature. However, in his pictorial works, he integrates sensations and emotions that bind internal areas that are fragmented and distant from each other.
