About this artwork
According to the painter, the work wants to represent the very different shades of warm colors present in the famous and well-known Monumentai Vally in America.
It is made on canvas with a quality wooden support measuring 150x100x3.5cm. The paints used are many and of different compositions: synthetic enamels, water-based enamels and acrylics; all colors are dropped with the use of the dripping technique or dripped onto a bed of very slippery and… shiny glossy paint. In the same way, once all the layers have dried, the same suicide paint is applied again to give a brilliant effect in stark contrast from the base of the work which is white.
