About this artwork
Work made with polystyrene blocks assembled and shaped by heat to form a single three-dimensional jagged piece. Painted and shaded with fine powder spray. Finished in some places with epoxy resin.

Gregorio Codagnone is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally. Passionate about art in all its forms, he is inspired by architecture and the materials that "make up things". Codagnone's current sculptural pieces explore the concept of composition and decomposition, nature returning to nature. However, in his pictorial works, he integrates sensations and emotions that bind internal areas that are fragmented and distant from each other.
