Comments from viewers:
“Fantastic, I like it a lot, the ghosts at the gate and their friends too, who seem to be asking what you are looking for there ; ) the forest light is very subtle and mysterious.”
"You can never have enough tree spirits and friends. I like it again, especially the owl with its incredible wings from the 5th dimension."
"There's a lot going on in the Fantasia forest again! Did you paint there with an easel or why are the… forest spirits watching you so interestedly? The one on the right looks like the gatekeeper of the forest, I think he charges an entrance fee when you walk through: that's the norm these days. But only against a receipt, right! Brilliantly composed (again) the whole thing is an imaginative opus!"
This digital painting is printed on aluminum dibond using lightfast UV direct printing and comes with a gallery profile hanger. The edition of the painting is limited to 4 copies, numbered and hand-signed.
Hans Batschauer is a German painter who exhibits nationally and internationally in both group and solo exhibitions.
Originally painting with oil and acrylic, since 2021 he has focused entirely on digital painting in the style of New Surrealism. He creates “transformative and mysterious paintings,” as he himself writes, which convey a unique visual language of suggestive power in luminous colors. In doing so, he does not imitate classical painting techniques, but creates complex hybrid compositions using a whole range of digital tools. At the heart of his often symbolically and religiously charged picture stories is man with his feelings, dreams and longings.
