About this artwork
* Acrylic and colored pencil on paper
To me, drawing is like writing a daily journal. One of the reasons I am drawn to abstract painting is that it holds the dual potential to be either structured or completely random at any given moment. This work is an expression of the sensory impression I captured on that day through drawing.

South Korea
Hari Park is a painter and digital visual artist from South Korea, trained in traditional East Asian painting and deeply rooted in the use of mineral pigments, mother-of-pearl, silk, and 3D technology. She masterfully layers delicate mineral pigments onto mulberry paper and silk, creating luminous abstract surfaces that blend classical techniques with contemporary mixed media, such as digital animation and interdisciplinary collaborations with dance and music. With her practice, she conveys meditative serenity, inner peace, and profound self-reflection, inviting viewers to connect with their own emotions and experience the world more deeply.
