I paint with acrylics on 140 lb. watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
In this painting, the idea came to me that I could do abstracts representing each season as a way to push myself into expanding my color palette. I included a large circle that reminds me of a harvest moon, it looks somewhat like a landscape.… I used several layers of paint which I scratched through which gives it a moody effect.
