About this artwork
Cirbus is a hybrid form in which two fundamental geometries—the circle and the cube—flow together. The rigid, rational structure of the cube is softened and distorted by the continuous curvature of the circle. Neither form dominates; they interpenetrate, creating a new, unstable unity.
3D printing makes this transition tangible: straight lines bend, corners lose their sharpness, and closed surfaces become open contours. What are normally opposites—the… angular and the rounded—are brought together here without completely merging.
